Jazz From Honfleur

by soundlandscapes

Further to my recent post, A One-Bell Symphony, the great bell of St Catherine’s church was not the only thing I recorded whilst in the beautiful old port of Honfleur.

A hundred metres or so from the hotel in which I stayed I discovered a bistro, le Vintage, which, as well as serving wonderful seafood, also had live jazz musicians performing every evening.

I recorded this piece having just eaten half-a-dozen oysters and a wonderful filet de bar.

This sound recording business can be very tough sometimes!
